Hintpad Windows records all that is configured in the program in text files called "Logs".
These files contain information about the program, its executions, import and exports, and more important, any error that might happen.
Therefore, if you encounter an error or failure in the system, the best way to find out what it may be due to, is by looking in the logs.
That way, if an error is persistent and a program restart doesn't fix it, you can send us these logs so we can help you find the problem.
To access these logs, you must follow the steps below:
1. Press the Windows icon in the bottom left of the screen and write "Run". Click on the program that will be showed:
2. A little window will pop up. In the text field, write "%appdata%". Then click "Ok".
3. This will open a folder named "Roaming". In this new window, navigate to the folder "hintpad-lite", and open it.
4. Once inside this folder, search for the "Hintpad Lite" folder and open it.
5. Once inside, you will see the folder "logs". Open it to access to them.
6. Now, you can see all the logs. The one that contains all the information is the log "admin".
Do not modify this file, just make a copy of it. You can send us the copy attached to your ticket or email, so it is easier for us to check the error, and find a solution to it. Any extra information will help us to find a quick solution for your problem.
